Default Bilsteins

Ordered my new Bilstein HDshocks today, I just hope they are worth the price. Truck has 182,000 on it so I think I am overdue. Also ordered a new Rancho RS5000 steering stabilizer to replace the original on the truck. Anybodies input on the Bilsteins are appreciated.

I've read they don't fit the 4x4 Rams.

See the other recent Bilstein thread for more info.

I have the Bilstein HDs on my truck, front and rear. Rides great, and tows well. I tow a 3000lb boat around all the time, only drops about an inch and a half when I set it on there, never had any problems with em and I've had em for almost a year now.

I had heard that someone had a problem with not enough hardware in the kit they received, but even the Bilstein website shows they fit and other people on here have put them on their 4x4s with no issues. I'm getting the Bilsteins HD shock. Set of (4) 220.00 shipped

where did you get them that cheap ? shockwarehouse link above is $80/ea. I think most problems with fit are where people with hi-lifted trucks order stock length shocks. I think you will like them.

Yes I got them off Ebay but just a different distributor, I was kinda thinking the same thing about the fit of the shocks, If someone buys a used truck that may have a 3"+ lift then the shocks won't fit, or If previous owner did a front axle swap that could cause an issue also. I will post results after I receive and install. My current shocks say "MOPAR" on them, and the next size up in Bilstein are for lifted trucks.
