1998 ram 2500 5-speed gearing????
im not too worried about rebuilding it, thats the easy part for me, im an import guy at heart, so i really have no idea about what fits, and works for trucks, i mena yeah sure i can do a search for dana 60's but what actually fits, lol can i just buy any dana 60 4.10 ring and pinion and expect it to fit, or does it have to be a dodge ram specific part, i have no idea. help a brother out.
so no one can help me with what ring and pinion will work, i know its adana 60 and all but where do i buy one??????????? or does no one know.
Dana 60 stuff is pretty much one size fits all...however, places like Randy's ring and pinion, and gear vendors to name two of many, can fill in the details.
order your gears from either, yukon, richmond, or spicer. companys like genuine gear and other are made over seas and are crap. what i really recommend doing is buying them form performaceoffroadcenter.com i would call them though and ask for a guy named alex. he'll help u out and get you everything u need at a great price. also are u possitive u have a dana 60 and not a 9.25 as some 2500's where consitered light duty and came with 1500 axles. just a heads up. easy way to idetify a dana 60. it will looke exactly as your front axle, just larger. the corp 9.25 is octagon shaped.
