Default New stereo installed, Now drivers tweeter dosent work.

I just finished installing my new stereo and XM radio and everything works great except for now the drivers side a-pillar tweeter dosent work. The passenger tweeter works as well as every other door speaker. I dont think it is anything I did because if there was a problem with a connection behind the deck the drivers side door speaker wouldn't work either. Is it possible that just the speaker dosent work anymore? Honestly, I dont remember if it worked before I did the install. I dont have any way to test it other than buying a new speaker to see if it works. Any ideas?

It could very easily be that the speaker just doesn't work anymore.

I think they are either 1" or 1 1/4" very easy to repalce. also double check the conections themselves on the tweeter. i've herd of people doing installs and for some reason to tweeter wires can get tugged off. no idea how. just a thought though

On larger speakers like woofers andmidrange if I didnt use coded wires I would hook a 9volt battery to the leads and watch which way the speaker moved to make sure they were in phaze. It would make a low thump when hooking it up. On a tweater you wont see movement but should hear a slight buzz/squack if the wiring is ok. If you hear nothing pull the pillar off at do the same test at the tweater terminals.
