Default Motor/PCM Identification

Hi All,
I'm new to the Dodge forum and had a question I was hoping to get some help with. I bought a Jeep with a dodge 360 and nv4500 in it to put in my Jeep. I was trying to identify what year vehivle the motor came out of. I believe it is a 96 or 97 but am not sure. Is there anything on the block, heads, intake, PCM, etc. that I could use to identify year of motor/PCM? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
George

I think we could identify the year if you are able to get a part number off the PCM.

My jeep is at a friends shop. I will try to get the numbers off the computer tomorrow.

Thanks,
George
