use some kind of a stop leak in the radiator and see if it stops.

The tank is most likely cracked at the crimp point to the radiator, close to the top where all the hot water hits first. When I brought mine to the radiator shop to get it repaired, there was another one there same day, cracked in same spot. Repair guy told me it was very common on Dodge truck with over 100k. It cost me $100 to have repaired (new tank and cleaned radiator).

Yup mine did that too. It's a common problem on higher mileage trucks.

if you have high miles on your water pump it could cause premature failure on it, but i just had gotten a new one cause mine took a crap, and i had to do the stop leak cause i have a small leak somewhere from back of the motor between the block and tranny...[:@]

do you think 94000 miles is too much on the pump for some stop leak? ive got a small leak same spot as in this post too. was just gonna wait till i couldnt anymore and get a new radiator.

any suggestions on brand of stop leak? any work better than others?

If you do decide to use a stop leak, I recommend using the kinds that require you to flush the system, run the stop leak for a period of time, flush again, and then refill. It's easier on the water pump than the stuff that you just add in. I used it for a LIM gasket on my grand am and it worked great. I can't remember the brand, but it was a clear bottle w/ the copper looking liquid. I believe it was called Bar's Liquid Aluminum or something like that.
