I'm about 1875rpm at 60 with 245 45 16 on a stock 99 ram with 5.9L 2wd. I think it used to be less and may have a trans problem, although it shifts fine to me. What are you all at?

 

Im not 100% sure about 60MPH, but I know that at 70 im doing a hair below 2000RPM.

Stock tires, 3.55 gears

 

at 70 im pulling 1800 rpm...this is with a 5.2 4x4 with 265/75/16

 

maybe it is not locking the converter beacause its 16 degrees out. and I only made a 1/2 hour trip to Wally World. Before when i pressed the brake to take off cruise i could hear it unlocking by the rpms jumping about 50. It didn't do it today.

 

my 5.9 in my 02 2500at 80 is just ahair over 2000 rpm so i would say mine are roughly 15-1800 rpm at 60 that doesnt seem abnormal to me

That time of year for these questions lol, good to bring up that prior post about cold weather tc lock out. Last wintermiddle ofFeb my 99 wouldnt go into od for a full week cause it was too cold. Good week, maybe got 120miles from my 135L tank seeing no overdrive on the highway and city streetseveryone creeping so never out of second gear.

My V10 spins about 1850 at 60mph with stock tires with tc locked. My Indy is about 2100 with same height tires but 392gears

 

i tested mine today.. at 60 mph i am running about 1800rpm.. sounds to me like your doin just fine

 

i believe at 60 i am doing a lil over 2000 maybe 2100 or so, but i have about 8 to 9 hundred lbs in the bed

01 1500 5.2 4x4 front p245/75R16 rear LT245/75R16

 

Almost stock--i'm at about 1700-1800or so.
