Hey all.
Just wondering if anyone ever painted or had painted their front bumper (the gray part) to match the rest of the truck. If so, anyone got some pics??
I'm thinking about having it painted or maybe trying it myself...along with the gray parts in the air dam where the fog lights are.
Thanks!!

I have seen it I want to say this or last months issue of Sport Truck Magazine had an artice about painting plastic parts. The consept is the same, sand it smooth, clean it of debries, use a good primer then paint. I have seen paintable aftermarket ones from Stylin Concepts, Godfathers Customs, J.C. Whitneys etc.I also belive that Duplicolor paint hasproducts to paint over those trim pieses as is you just have to clean them first. Sounds like a good idea.

yep i did mine, use acid etch primer followed by the colour of your choice. Of course clean it up etc first...
The Acid etch primer is the most important thing as it bites into the plastic, if you wanted to go the whole hog you could get your main paint with a rubber agent in there to allow somestretch but I don’t know that it will be necessary.
I did mine mat black. as below
