Default another tranny problem

When i am on the freeway, between 50 and 60 mph i get a surging under normal accelerating. But at wot there is no surging. I hope this is the tps, i just wanted a second opinion before spending the money.

the cel did not come on. and they checked the fluid when i got the oil changed yesterday. And i have had the truck for one year and i have never changed the fluid. I did not change it yet because i bought it from a dodge dealer and asume they did it before i bought it.

My experience:
Problem was surging while maintaining consistent highway speeds.Tach jumped 300-400 rpm. No surgewhen accelerating.

Solution was TPS. $80 part for the V10. 15 min. to install. Child's play.

95% chance it is the TPS. For the 5.2 it is $35 at O'Reillys or Auto Zone......Takes 5 minutes to change it. If not fixed - it will overwork and trash your tranny. Ask the two dealers that never diagnosed the bad TPS on mine and rebuilt my tranny under p-train warranty......

The iac (Idle Air Control) will cause surging at IDLE if it is dirty or bad - not at cruise speed.....
