Does anyone know if a 426 Hemi engine fit in a 2000 Dodge ram 1500?

You can fit anything into anything ... given a big enough shoehorn. How much money do you want to throw at it?

if you could find some older 60's and 70's mopars you could get one with an 383 or 440 and build it up the way you want or leave it stock if it runs. They will be carb but i think you can buy fuel injection for them depending on what you want to do, i think you can get them for 2k or so.
