Default Tranny capacity and Torque converter Q

Getting done assembling my tranny after replacing a few things in it. Couple of quick Q's.

The FSM says for a full tranny flush use 12 pints(6qts). I know this isn't right because when I just do a filter/fluid change that's about what I put back in. Anyone know about how many qts I'll need? I'm assuming about 10 but I'd like to have the right amount on hand in case I don't get everything back together until after the stores close.

Also, when the torque converter is removed, I thought there was a need to fill it back up as much as possible before re-installing. Is there a specific amount for this also or what is the recommended proceedure for that? I know if you don't put some in you cantorchthe torque converterso I want to get this right.

Thanks
-Jerrod
