Default WOT wont shift?

Sometimes when Im WOT through first, it will bounce off the rev limiter untill i let off the gas. obviously i dont let it bounce more than once, but what do you think that could be a result of? Thats not normal for these trucks, is it?

Do the TV cable adjustment ... sounds like you're badly in need of it.

http://www.bionicdodge.com/Download/Dodge_Ram_Truck_Transmission_Adjustment.pdf

mine does the same thing, except its from 2nd to 3rd. Ive herd alot of thing, TV Cable, Govenor Pressure Sensor (GPS), Govenor Pressure solinoid, Tranny Bands, Links ect...

When i adjusted my TV cable it didnt fix the problem, but ti did notice a diffrence in tranny shifts.

They say the problem with the GPS is when you have alot of power units going it sends the wrong voltage to it, and it doesnt shift right, i read right, and you need to replace the GPS. Its about 50 dollars, and the solinoid is a bit cheaper.. when i get a job thats my next project, i cant stand it anymore.

Yeahhhhh ... lemme send you a copy of that ...

User2006 posted an EXCELLENT how-to on the TV cable adjustment. May or may not fix the problem but it's a good place to start and very easy to perform.
