Default That noise I've been hearing, confirmed

When my fuel light came on I went to the gas station and put around 10-11 gallons of 93 premium in the truck bringing it to around 3/4 full. There was a definite decrease in pinging immediately, it only really does it very slightly as soon as it shifts into OD and thats pretty much it. I'm still going to look into taking that Jet thing off of my PCM whenever it gets warm out. I really don't feel like shelling out the extra 30-40 cents per gallon the premium costs every fillup so I'll also try the 89 too and see what happens.

I use 87-9 w/ a Superchips and haven't had any pinging yet. I'm hoping it'll stay that way since I've heard of others having the ping.

Man, that Jet module probably takes less than 3 minutes to remove. Why wait?

Oh I don't know I thought you had to remove the PCM to take it off and stuff, thats what the instructions say when installing anyway.

The PCM takes 2 minutes to remove ... if you move REALLY slowly. 3 connectors ... 3 screws ... it's outa there.
