what diff do i have? can i use a locker
its a 97 ram 1500 4x4 5.2 46re trans. the rear is going on it. the clutches are busted and the spiders are a little loose. if i put in a locker will the clutches come out? how dose this work and how do i do it? help please
If you searched you'd know you have a Corporate 9.25" rear
You can buy a full time locker but unless you wheel you won't like it, I would recoment getting another limited slip unit. Some people here have the Aurburn LSD and like it.

you can get another LS which is crap. i better LS like socha said or the best of them all which is the detriot truetrack. if ur looking for something close to a locker/limited slip thats what id go with. or u can get a Powertrax lock right. which is just a locker that goes in the stock carrier like a LS and relaces the spyder gears. or go full auto locker. although ARB is suppost to come out with a selectable air locker by this summer
In my opinion ARB's are just an expensive piece of bling. For a front axle, maybe but they're still just to expensive. You can get another locker thats not selectable for 1/4 the price.
I don't think anybody needs them unless they have money to burn, or you building some crazy rock buggy that you want to be able to lock one wheel and turn on a dime.
Kid up here has ARB's front and rear, they're sweet and make a cool sound, but just not economical.
