I was just doing the ball joints on my mom's truck, and was wondering if i could use a ball joint press to push out the bolts on my control arms (which i have procrstinated for a long time)? Also, when i was doing my mom's ball joints (2001 Yukon XL) the boot for the top ball joint (Moog); i cannot push up all the way...the way i remember my Dodge's is that it pushed up pretty easy. There are two "humps" that is has to go over, i got it to go over the first one and it does not seem like there is anyway that it could slide off easily, is this okay? I do not think i could possibly push it up anymore.
