Before I order the wrong part, are they all the same, or do I need to take the door apart to find it? I have an '06 Ram 1500 Sport Club Cab.

Thanks in advance for the help,

John

You need to post in the Third Gen Ram section.

Default 2002 Ram 2500 door locks

Drivers side switch has power and continuity from switch to door jamb bulkhead connector but will not lock/unlock doors, passenger side works normally. This issue started after installing aftermarket alarm with keyless entry. Truck info stated was single wire door lock system but during installation determined it was 3 wire negative system. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks in advance

Grab a service manual for your truck from here. (the 01 manual will work for you, heavier trucks didn't go to third gen style until 03) Check the wiring diagrams for how the power locks are supposed to work. I *think* the switches just suggest to the central timer module that it should close a circuit.... but, not 100% on that.
