I'm thinking of gettinga new dieseltruck for long distance towing and keeping my current truck for trail riding. Trying to decide whether to buy an '07 or hold off a little bit if a redesign is coming.

Anybody know when the next redesign of the Ram is scheduled for? Will it be a fourth generation or a cosmetic rework of the third gen.?

Any links to pics would be great.

I really hope that is not the concept ram, that looks horrible in my opinion. Whats with the V shaped front end? sierra's, silverado's, now rams? What happened with that big chrome |===|===| grille?[:@]

Plus, look at the wheel wells they are identical to 2nd gen rams...

I just hope dodge doesnt go all 2nd gen durango with the rams.

I hope they go more toward the power wagon style than the rampage. The rampage looks like a reworked honda ridgeline.

 

Why cant they just leave it how it is...

It IS the best looking truck out there.

 

I don't think the 2008 concept is real (personal opinion)...looks like an amateur photoshop job over the top of a 2nd gen. ram...not something that would have come out of a big 3 design studio.

 

Looks foreign.... UGLY......Looks like my dogs wouldn't even be able to fit in the back..

 

Best looking trucks are the older ones, I think they all try to make things look all high tech and fancy while the actual "truck" does not look like it should any more. My idea of a truck is a mean looking beast, and none of those pictures live up to it. 2nd gen ram, older fords, older chevy's (that have Chevrolet written on the tailgate) are all great looking trucks. I'm not even into the 3rd gen rams.
