Default Regular Cab Sub Setups?

I recently came into possession of a Rockford Fosgate 10' P2. I paid fifty bucks for it box and all! I've already got a 450 watt amp. I'm going to put everything together weekend after next. I would really like to keep my storage racks so right now I'm thinking about cutting a third of the bottom rack off. I was just wondering how you guys with regular cabs set up your subs.

I too took out my storage bins. I have 2 10 inch pioneers powered by 2x500 watt amp. the box is perfectly square and fits behind the seats just right so the subs aren't touching anything. I dont recal the cubic feet of the box, or the dimensions, but i built it myself, and it only cost me 10 bucks. I dont have pictures of it with the grey carpet on the box yet, and its too cold outside to get some new ones.

I don't have any pics, but I took the storage bins out, and built a box that goes all the way from the diver side and leaves about 10" on the passenger side. I had to make a shelf-like cutout in the center with a channell running along the bottom to connect the 2 sides in order to clear the center console coming up and down. It's pretty sweet and sounds awesome with my port exit on the passenger side. I only have an old RF 12" with a 350watt amp, but it sounds awesome!

i took out the shelves and made a box 33in long 14 high angled depth 8in at bottom 2in at top..and it barely fit with a 12in sub...had it all the way against the passenger wall and the middle seat would rub the carpet on the box slightly when raised up and down...i did a quickie and stuck the amp behind the drivers side...could see any of the wires or amp unless u pulled the seat up

Mine the same way, I took my bins out, put my box back there with the 2-RF 12" and put my amp under the middle seat, works really well, amd my seat almost goes all the way back if needed but not quiet. I have about 10 inchs of space on each end and if needed I can put smaller things on top the box for temp storage. With the 12"s and the 6x9's in the doors and the 6"s in the back corners that all I need in there anyway.

yea i forgot to mention that the passenger side seatcould not be put all the back...within an inch though...since the speaker was touching the back of the seat i bet the seat would move in and out close to and inch and it vibrated so much...felt like a massage..i also noticed that the sub was a lot louder when the windows were down or cracked

I came across this very clever box that sounds like it would fit your needs perfectly! Hope this helps.....
