Default my last mopar

Got my truck back today from the shop and it still won't shift properly. Completely rebuilt transmission! It either runs like crap and shifts or runs fine in 1st and stays in first. It's like flipping a coin each time I get into it. Wiring? computer? I have no idea what's going on and no technicians seem to know either. Trasmission problems just like my last mopar.[>:]

Anybody want to buy my truck?

I'd get my money back if they won't fix it right. Sounds like the governor shift selenoid, or the electrical connector where the PCM goes in the tranny. Did they use a new TC?
Also, if they didn't flush or replace the check valve/ cooler, you coulda flushed all that crap from your previous tranny back into the new one. That's the most common issue with rebuilt jobs....most mechanics for get about that.

Did they change out the check ball on the coolant line? A trashed tranny will often jam up this valve and cause repeat problems.

The guys that do my tranny work guarantee or no charge. They got a shop that looks like a shanty and most would say *ell no I'm not leavin my truck there!!!Rebuilt a resale Ford Ranger 5 times for it satisfied em. $400.00 bucks. Its not the real purty shop that gets the job done sometimes. When Chevy started makin them little bitty S10's I went Dodge and never looked back. If I gotta pusher I will.

dsertdog56 - On my invoice is says "REVERSE FLUSH TRANS COOLER SYSTEM" so they did it (I hope).

Good news, kinda.

I took a look at the TRANS relay in the PDC and it felt hot when I was stuck in first. So I removed it and now I have 2-3-R no O/D, but at least I can drive at normal speeds and not be at 5000rpm [&:]. This is definatly an electrical problem relating to the governor solenoid circuit.

update - more bad news...

Fluid is pouring out from the bellhousing all over the exhaust pipe. What a crappy job.
Back to the shop it goes.
