Auto trans very slow to upshift 1-2
my '99 Ram 1500, 4x4, 5.2 is now giving me trouble, it revs to over 3000 with partial throttle on the 1-2 upshift, especially going up any grade at all.
It has 154k well cared for miles, but......
I am not happy right now. anybody know if adjusting the bands is good or bad? any fix other than a total rebuild? the dealer said don't adjust the bands, will make it worse.
