I have(had?) a vacuum leak somewhere, I never found it. When I removed the engine over the weekend I found this hanging out near the bellhousing, behind the engine. I looked at the vacuum schematics but no luck. Any takers

Well im not sure but it definitaly looks like a vacum line to me

 

i would like to know this to because i pulled my trans and found that same line goes to the transfer case for the 4wd shifter on the axle and when i pulled the trans that was gone out the line

 

Vacuum line with a check valve. All part of the CAD.

 

So it's just for use in testing the system right? Doesn't plug in anywhere?

 

I just found that yesterday freaked me out. now im better now that i read this.
