Default Wheel hop

I had a front end alignment and my tires rotated and balanced a week ago and since then I have noticed that my front left tends to hop around after I hit a bump or when I turn slightly to the right. The reason I had this done was that I had both lower control arms replaced. The tire shop said one of my tires were "chopped", I assume this is what is causing my tire hop, is this right?
Thanks

Maybe, I'll have to take a look when it gets warmer out.

Thanks

What does "chopped" mean?

Jump up on the bumper nearest the tire and bounce the truck a few times. If it keeps bouncing when you jump off, replace the shock.

Thanks

I think what the shop meant by "chopped", is taht due to a worn component, one of the tires wore down a spot or wore unevenly.

The shocks are like a year old, like 10K miles on them. I will test them, maybe I got a bad one.

I had a chance to get under the truck and take a look at some stuff. I tested the front shocks, and they are fine. The only thing I found that was loose was my track bar. The end that connects to the frame has some play. I already used a Lukes Link to repair the track bar like 2 years ago, looks like I need to do it again.

Would a bad track bar cause the hop?
