Default Pitman Arm

I was going to replace the lower steering box seals because it leaks about a half a quart a day, and I broke the stupid puller from autozone and couldn't even get the drag link side off!!! What a pain! I guess I'll see if I can have the fellas down at 4wheelparts slap it in for me when they put on my lift in a couple weeks. Are those things always that hard to get off? I know the truck is 13 years old, but damn!

Mine was so hard to get off it actually still amazes me to think about.....I ended up cutting it with a cutting wheel VERY carefully so that it expanded around the steering gear and it came off.....that was after about three cans of liquid wrench.... a broken puller and a very tired me!

Thats when you just upgrade your steering box/ pitman arm, and take the old unit out in one piece.
