Heres the deal i like to race alot and i will have my truck in drive i wont even shift it in 1st and from a dead stop i take off and when it starts changing into 2nd its like it overrevs and wont catch second gear after it winds out. whats the deal i dont know what the problem is and i thought ofjust putting ashift kit inmy truck. anysuggestions???

I had the same problem going from 1st to 2nd. It would slip going into third for a while and it got worse and worse. Then it ended up skipping 2nd gear altogether. I shifted manually to 2nd and it got jammed. RESULT: NEW TRANNY. Get it looked at soon before it totally goes on you

sorry, you need a beefed up performance tranny.

 

problem solved got a new performance tranny comn in i dont know what kind it is but it cost $950 thnx
