Default 4wd vaccume lines

well i put in a new trans and the 4wd liht flashed at me afterwards, i found a leak in the one of the two vac lines and i fixed it with vacume tubing. today i went to put in 4x4 and now it didnt work, so i cut the line and then it worked,wtf

I was on the forum a couple of months back and asked the question about the lines myself. They have been cut since I have had the truck. I have not had any trouble with it going into 4X4, but it was suggested that I change out the lines and the module or whatever it is called that it goes into

it would be better to replace those lines with OEM new ones.. i did .. (assuming your talking about the hard lines going from the tcase to the CAD on the front axle) i cant remember exactly what they cost me but i know they were not expensive at all.. prebent and they come together.. super easy to install... check with your local Dodge parts dealer (dealership) and they can look it up on their computer
