Bedliner??
Over a year ago I was asking the same thing. I went to a LINE-X dealer and saw a demo. Half of a tailgate was sprayed with Rhino, the other half was LINE-X. The Rhino could be peeled up with your fingers, but not the LINE-X. It was about $500.00 for a Ram 1500 long bed with the coating extending "over the rails."But IMHO it was well worth it. It's guaranteed.
The truck I was considering, for a little while anyway, had a "bucket" bed liner in it. I lifted up the liner and looked under it. That's when I decided not to purchase that truck. The bed under the liner was all rotted out with leaves and water mixed in with the rust.

Do not go with the drop in! You are much better off with a spray in! They have awesome warrantys and it's pretty tough to tear them up! I've had mine for 6yrs and it still is great! I have a few scratches and gouges in it, but it is still in great shape! It's worth the money for sure!

right now I am workin at armaguard. (spray in bed liner
) and they are the only way to go if you plan to keep your truck. We take out old wood, plastic, mat liners and all of them are pretty gross underneth. lots with rust. A lot of the dealers get up to spray in the liners to cover up dents, rust, holes. and increase the value of the truck. SO NOTE TO EVERYONE IF THE LINER LOOKS BRAND NEW IN A USED TRUCK IT COULD BE COVERING UP SOME NASTY STUFF. IF you plan to sell the truck just buy a plastic one to cover up the dents and scratches and you will be able to get more $$ outa your truck. Good luck. but i still recommend a bed liner.... and dont go with a low pressure spray place they look nasty after. High pressure spray uses chemials and hardeners that just work better.
