Default dipstick tube removal

Anyone know how to remove the dipstick tube out the block without destroying it - anymore than it already is?

I thought it was pressed in and held with the mounting bolt, but it won't come out.

It is. Try spraying the base with some PBlaster and let it soak for a while. It's a bear to remove.

And even harder to get back in. It is VITAL that it get's seated properly or you'll be overfilling your tranny ... just as bad as underfilling it. How do I know? Don't ask ...[:@]
