Default Transmission Question

I am getting ready to change my fluid and filter on my 2000 Ram. How can you tell if you have a 46RE or a 47RE? Is it stamped on the tranny somewhere? Thanks

I am also going to adjust the bands while I am in there, do I just need a regular torque wrench with a T40 torx head socket?

It should be on a sticker either inside the door or the hood.

It would help to know what series (1500, 2500, 3500) your 2000 Ram is and what engine it has.
