Bullitt Proof Transmission

Bullitt Proof Transmission
I am looking to buy a Bullitt proof automatic transmission for my 98 Ram1500 4X4. I bought one from a company out of FL called Maddog Transmissions but I don't think they are in existance anymore. I bought this truck fro the 2nd owner who had the tranny rebuilt but to me it's not pulling and shifting right. I'm running 4.56 gears with 35X12.5R17 Radial Mud Rovers by Dunlop. Any help out there?

I hae heard nothing but good things from them. I bought my Plenum Kit from them and it got hear fast and was good quality. They can build them to your specs and your budget, from "mild to wild".

The toughest trannys out there are from www.ATSdiesel.com.
I have the stage 4 build 47RH, and the 5 star torque converter. I hammer on my tranny. And it asks for more...lol. Addingthat TCconverter, along with the lock up commander to an ATS tranny, will give you killer performance. When my converter locks up with about 6,000 on the back, my tranny temp never rises above 160 degrees. And I am putting a LOT of torque thru my driveline.
It cost me in the neighborhood of 6 grand but, I wanted a tough tranny that was built to work. I change my fluid every 15,000 miles for the 150,000 mile warranty. My tranny service guys says changing the fluid with such low temps is a waste of money. (Just describing how good the fluid is after 15,000 miles of me abusing my Ram....lol)
Good luck with your ride.
