3.92 isnt bad, no acceleration, but LONG legs.

How do you figure? I have 3.55's and it's still not long legged. My mustang has 2.73's. 3.92's have got to be better than 3.55's.

I run 4.10 and did not noticea major change in highway driving. The mileage change was minor and rpm changed by a couple hunred. The low end is much better and the trade off is well worth it. Your other option is a 3.92 but there isn't much difference from there to jumping up to 4.10.

go to www.4wheelparts.com. i just ordered 4.10's for my 98. it was a total of $500.00 for the front and rear gears and master install kits. it also comes with a new carrier for the front to fit the 4.10's.

good luck
What part #'s did you get? I looked at stuff for my 97 and it came out over $500.

Summit racing. I think I'll try 4.10's if they don't affect gas mileage and rpm's much.

It's not a simple swap. There are very precise measurements for backlash, and you need specific tools to take the correct measurements.
