SNOW
Well my town just got about 14-15 inches of snow plus 30-50 mph blowing wind so i went to test my pickup and was awesome until i got buried over the hood snow and had to call a tractor to pull me out.. I LOVE SNOW!!!
It's so weird what a difference 2 extra wheels make. In two wheel drive you can get stuck on a steep hill at a dead stop if one tire is in grass or gravel or something and it can be 90 degrees out. In 4 wheel drive you can drive through a field with 2 feet of snow and Ice on it up and down hill, Through a mud pit, through the woods. It doesn't seem like it should make that much of a difference but it does.
You people are all so funny
You get a snow storm once every few years and get all giddy saying how much you lvoe snow. In all honestly, in the fall I'm excited for the first snowfall, but after you've been in it for 3+ monthes it gets old. We average just under 300" of snow up here a year.
It gets old and tiring walking out in the 10F weather with the wind blowing, dusting off your car, sliding down hills even when you drive as careful as possible, and for no reason driving down a main road and all the sudden you start to slide into the other lane with NO control.
I like to think I'm a good driver, I'm never got in an accident, a speeding ticket, or even pulled over in these 4 years knock on wood, but no matter how good of a driver you are you still can get into bad situations and get sick of driving in this weather. Last night we were under a blizard warning like much of the mid west. They cancled school at Michigan Tech for the first time since the early 80's. When I was driving home last night it was snowing and blowing so hard I actually just turned my headlights off so I could see the road. Its the same thing as turning on your brights when its snowing bad out, all you see is the snow, so I had to turn my lights off completely.
There were cars stuck on some of the back roads here with snow drifts over their hoods. It gets old.
Heres the view out my window right now, the neighbor has been stuck in her driveway since this morning.

Ok, I just went and pulled her out
Thinking about just going out driving and see if I can make any money pulling people out.
