My buddy has a 1997 dodge ram 2500 with a 5.9 360...... it is completely stock and a 4wd.... he was inbetween working that engine or saving for a diesel if he worked it he would do the works:

Wat would you reccomendthat or a diesel and starting all over i said go with the gas engine and also the engine at high rpm has a slight clicking noise is that a lifter or wat? ty for the help

see thats what im getting bc my trucks not 4x4 or anything fancy he got a great deal on that truck i figure with all that work he could be just as good without spending all that extra money on a diesel just spending it on the engine and suspension...... I am buying a diesel in the summer and doing everyting to it

 

I got a 5.9 V8 and I love it, but beleive me if I had the money when I bought it i'd have bought a diesel. And my next truck will be diesel.
