i was in nh a few years ago and talked with a guy that had a 440 in his 94 converted to carb, stock drivetrain. he said everything went eaisier than he thought it would. has anyone done a 5.7 hemi into a 2nd gen yet. i wanted too but i have to finish my other car first.

 

What about emission inspection? It still has to pass as a 1995, right?

What year would the engine be from? I dunno the laws but maybe if the engine is pre '79 you won't have to pas emissions. If thats not the case it could be a bit harder...

 

That what i keeping on saying to you guys...but its your $$$$ ...emissions : if the motor does not match the VIN FAIL ..Oh you can add a TBI to any thing look on summit , just be ready to spend some serious cash maybe a recontruct title ?

 

9 times out of 10 the inspection co-insides with the chassis,, so itll still have to be inspected.. itll be tuff to keep the PCM happy..

 

How is the emissions person (she?) gonna know its a 1979 or older engine?
