Sounds like a sticky lifter to me to, there is no way to really repair these, you've pretty much got to replace it. And if you want to go with stock lifters its not cheap. If I remember right its 8 dollars per lifter and if you did all 16 (which I would do) your looking at around 200 bucks

actually a full set of lifters will cost me about 30 bux, I am a dodge employee so its pretty cheap for parts. how long will it take to replace all of the lifters and do i need any special tools.

$30 WOW can you say mark-up! Yeah I need to do them on my 2000 4.7 Dakota.
