Only use the CC Cleaner if you've still got bad pinging after changing out the gasket.

I had the same problem, loosing to much oil to be just a leak. Reading this forum had me convinced it was the plenum gasket. In January I tore the engine down to replace the timing chain and front seal that was also leaking. There was about 3" of gasket blown out from the plenum plate. I never noticed any oil burning either but it had to be. I also didn't realize how long it'd been since I tuned the truck up, could barely get the plugs out. When I did, all of them had wet oil and carbon build up on them. I took a few shots of the intake before and after cleaning it up. I also snugged down the valvecover bolts. Some of them were pretty loose. Jeff.
