K, now if you look under your truck theres that cone right over the top of the spring and shock, what i was wondering is...can u take that, cut about 2 inches out of it, re-weld it and place it back on there if it will lift your truck...if im thinking right I think it would...also is it okay to run a switch to turn off a pair of injectors and would I see an increase in mpg if I only did it when i was cruising. My last question, im getting new 33's and i was ondering if I fill my tires up with nitrogen if i will get a gain in mpg because nitrogen is lighter then air, but idk if it would be that much of a difference.

Upper shock mount idea ... you won't lift your truck but you will break your shock rods when you hit your first good bump. All you're going to do is compress the shocks 2" farther down than normal.

Injectors ... umm ... if you could fund a way to keep the valves from closing all the way on your two modded cylinders ... maybe. Otherwise you still have to use power to compress the air in the dead cylinders.

Nitrogen in the tires again ... Hoo boy ...

The only advantage to nitrogen that I know of is that your pressures change less with temperature. Either ambient or frictional temp. As for better mpg because it's lighter? Probably not so much you would notice.

The killing the injecter thing wont work...

My moms old car droped a valve seat, and she needed it to run for a little while longer so I did some hilbilly ingineering... Took out the exhasut rocker and tappet, made a plug that allowed the oil to still pass through so it could oil the cam bearing, somehow rigged the intake valve closed i dont even remember how I did that, and I cut off the power to the fuel injector.

Dident really do anything for gasmileage, I thought it would but it dident... And if you are still compressing air in a cylinder, but not fireing it I bet your milage would go down along with a huge lack of power and it would sound like ****.

Hope my writing made since... im about to fall asleep right now...lol

Instead of nitrogen, try helium. Then your truck will just float down the road.
