keep hearing this whistle around half throttle, so i get a new gasket for my air hat. i pull off the fipk to replace it and there is a $%@#ing 1/4 inch crack in the fipk tube. got on the website and it turns out that 2nd gen dodge fipk and mopar performance aftermarket fipk were recalled, because of crappy polyuerathane or somthing. anyway if ya got one better check it out. call up k and n and they will ship ya a new one!

 

Hope you took it off and reinstalled your original air box. The reason they were recalled was because your engine can ingest pieces of the disintegrating air tube.
