gears dont matter if the tire size is bigger. then the gears will just be the same total ratio as stock if you upgraded to a larger tire. even if you went up in gears to a 4.56 without changing tires too much, you will only be running about 5-600 RPM more than with the stock gears.
Besides, why on earth would you take a 5000 lbs. truck over 100. not only is it illegal, but just plain dumb. stopping in a hurry is out of the question, and if you lose any control, you wont spin out like a sports car...you become a tumbleweed.

no gears will get over to 100mph in the quater unless you get some serious engine work done. check out rm-indy's page. he has a 5.9L motor and didnt do it until he was supercharged. dont get your hopes of 100 mph in your truck.
What are your RPM's at 50 just double that. Mine are around 1,800 at 55 with 4.10's so at a hundred I'd be well under 4,000 RPM's, but I doubt my truck will ever see 100 with me drivin. I'll save that for bikes and cars.

Just plug in the variables and it will tell you what your speed will be at any given rpm
