Default final decsion!

I am planning on getting a 3in. lift with a 285/55/20 tire, I thinks its about 32.4 in tall, and the wheels have a -15 offset, will they rub. Also any gear changes needed?

A 32.4" tire is going to look kinda small with 3" of lift. Shouldn't need to change gears though unless you really want some performance.

Unless you really wanted nice performance, you have to change gears! You can always change for some new performance parts.

At least 33", and 34" would be better. Not sure if you can stuff 35's with just 3" though. My tires are 32.8" (285/70/17), and sometimes I think they look a tad on the small size with my 3" lift. I wouldn't want to go any smaller, that's for sure. But the taller tire you go, the more you will wish you had gears.

see, im going w/ 285/75/16's cause i have 3.55 gears and its the best cost plan for me otherwise 34"ers and regear and all kinda other stuff, imo 33's on a 3' lift is sufficient,

I don't think you'll need gears. You probably have 3.55's and maybe 3.92's. Either will do find for a 33-35" tire unless you plan on doing alot of heavy towing.

If by fine you mean sluggish off the line and no low end torque, then ya, 3.55's are fine with 33's or 35's. Glad I have 4.10's with my 32.8 though.

I have 33's with 3.55's and I wish I had 4.10's...................If I jump up to 35" tires for my next set....I will have to re-gear, my o/d is almost useless as it is.
