Default Flashing?????????????

Everyone keeps talking about getting there computer flashed, what exactly does that entail?? What does it cost, and can I do it myself?

Computer flashing is the same as reprograming your the computer that controls your engine, transmission, ect.

It can get pricy, and theres no way you can do it yourself. You have to take your computer out and send it to the company so they can hook it up to their other computers.

Hands down, one of the best mods I have done. It is really only something you want to do after you have done most of the other engine mods you want to do though. Reason is, they take all the mods you have done, and set up your flash so it is optimized for the mods you are running. If you do it to a stock truck, then do a bunch of mods, you will need to have it redone if you want your new mods to really work to their fullest. And like was said, it isn't cheap, so doing it multiple times is not a good idea. Ballpark price is $350-$500, depending on what you have them do.

just like silver_dodge said you can add all the mods you want but if dont get your computer flashed you will down 30-40 crank HP ...hands down $350-$450 for 30-40 HP is a great deal IMO
