Had those tires on an 2000 f250. Decent tire I thought. I put 40K on them and while they were worn down pretty good, I probably could have gotten another 10 out of them before I had to replace them if I hadn't traded it in on the dodge.

But that seems pretty high for a used tire. I know I've seen new online for cheaper than that (depending on size)

I have priced them out at around $180-$190 at most of the places in this town that carry them. I paid about $245 a tire for my BFG's, so this seems like a pretty good deal to me if they are a decent tire. I don't really need tires yet, but I can just store them till my current tires are done.
Holy crap ... $245 a copy?? I drove out of Discount Tire for a shade over $800 for a set of 4 (mounted, stems, everything). Current pricing is $202 for 295/75/16's.

Have to agree with most everyone here ... $170 seems pretty pricey for those. Either get more off or stick to BFG's if you like them. Mine are wearing like iron.

When I bought my BFG's it was almost 2 years ago when there were virtually none available anywhere at the time. Same for most other good AT tires at the time, everyone was sold out. It took weeks just to get them in. Also, 2 years ago, prices for 17" tires was higher then they are today. 17's are more common today, so the tires are not as expensive.

Did not know that you had 17" rims ... can see how that would be a factor.

The toyo verison of the same time is cheaper than the nittos. I have some Nittos LT285/75/R16's and i paid $120 per tire. I shoped around looking for deals and taking the estimates to other stores to get better deals.

I decided to pass on the tire. Last I talked to the tire store, they were pretty much sold to another buyer. Thanks all for the opinions though.

for what its worth im running the nitto TG's right now and i love them.. ill be getting mud grapplers next for obvious reasons. (that time the truck will be more offroad then a daily driver) IIRC for 315/75/R16 i paid 200 and some change for each..

got about 45K on them ballpark 45% tread left..surpisingly
