Default Misfire at Start on cylinder 1

Hey guys, Thanks for reading my post, much appreciated. I have been experiencing a engine code and it is p0301, misfire detected in cylinder 1. I noticed that this comes on at start-up, i dont know if it comes on immediately when detected or the next time started. Regardless this light apears at start up and stays on. I have cleared it a few times now, im sure in a couple of days it will come back on. The main thing that id like to know is where is cylinder 1? My intuition says front passenger side. Also, does anyone have a suggestion of anything to check to try and figure this problem out?

Thanks again for taking the time to read this, cheers.

usually it's an ignition issue. If you have coil over type coils ( each spark plug has it's own coil so there for you usually won't have spark plug wires) the coil is bad at that cyclinder. If you do not have that style then I would check the plug, the wire, cap, rotor, etc. everything associated with that cylinder. Normally there will be a time when the egine will idle rough or seem sluggish while driving. Make sure everything is secure and tight, if the wire is loose then this will cause that issue as well.
