99 Fuel canister diagram

Hello all. My boss has a 99 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.9L, 360... His fuel pump needs replacement. He purchased the fuel pump seperately and has removed the entire canister from the fuel tank. He's having trouble getting the canister apart.

Does anyone have any tips for getting the canister apart? ANyone have a diagram (exploded view) of the canister?
