popping thorugh throttle body why???
well the title says it all my truck is popping throught the throttle body every once in a while ive done a complete tune up my heads etc were all just redone by stealer ive cleaned my idle air control sensor got a new tps no oil at all in my intake so why else would this be doing this. oh sorry 02 ram 2500 5.9 gas
Mine has always done that, but only if I don't let it warm up. If I start it up, and try to drive right off, it will pop if I give it too much gas. All I need to do is let it warm up for several minutes, and it doesn't do it.
When is it doing it on yours? When it's cold? Warmed up? Id be more concerened if it were doing it when it is warmed up.

Sounds like a problem in the distributor. Could be off just a few degrees, causing a misfire. Improperly routed/connected plug wires (i.e. plug wires were replaced but not connected to the proper point on the distributor) will cause the backfire/popping as well.
