Default True Dual vs. 1 in 2 out

I've been looking around at new exaust systems and They all seem to be 1 in 2 out systems, can anyone set me up with some links for true dual systems? Also how much of a difference is there in preformance and sound. How much more does it cost for true duals? What would you do?

Well most true dual set-ups are custom made at the local budget muffler shop. As for the cat, mines gutted w/ a FastMan SIMM to keep that MIL off . Now to be legal Catco, Dynomax, Magnaflow, and Dynatech are all good cats. Take the time to over look your option of shops and brands. With my prev. vechicles I've had Flows 40 DF, Force, Cherry Bomb Extreme, and Thrush Turbo. Now i'm trying the Dynomax bullet 2.5" with dual tail pipes and 4" SS tips, and before this I'd ran straight pipes but the Inspections coming on 4 months. Just a look at not to be confusedwith the sniffer test.
I prefer Summit Racing for my needs

I just got mine inspected yesterday. They keep trying to get more older vehicles to fail. This year, they put it on a dyno (THAT'S new) and tested it under a variety of conditions (load, gear, rpm, etc.). 9 year old, original emissions, ignition and exhaust system ... STILL passed. In your face Texas!!

20k+ mile oil changes seem to be working just fine.

That level of inspection is ridiculous in my opinion. Glad they don't have that here.

All that is probably part of The Texas State General Assebly' s stragedy to help cut down on illegal immigration. How TF do they pay for that kind of testing. Did they atleast give you HP/TQ feedback. A/F datamaybe? What a waste of a dyno. I would raise hell if I lived there. All that it should take is a qualified auto mechanic with a just above run of the mill scanner to do an emissions test. I would complain if they were to buy Genysis or Snap-on.

They don't ... I do ... $40 a year for what used to be a "Safety Inspection".
