What does it mean when you say "jump it off". Does this mean rolling it and popping the clutch or jumping it off another vehicle.

I would make sure your battery connections are clean and solid.

No, they sell battery terminal cleaning kits with a round wire brush and also a battery post cleaner at walmart pretty cheap. I had a dakota that drove to the store and when I got out it wouldn't start popped the hood and cleaned the connections started right up.

May still not be getting enough power, on that same truck I had when the battery completely went I could jump the truck and keep it running as long as I gave it gas (it was a 5 speed) as soon as I let off the gas it died. A new battery fixed that problem. But if the contacts are really dirty or bad it could cause the same thing. I always get new terminals when I get a vehicle because most of the time the stock ones are junk anyway.
