Compression test results
I had a Misfire, so i did a compression test.
Cyl 2-140
Cyl 4-140
Cyl 6-160
Cyl 8-165
Cyl 1-165
Cyl 3-160
Cyl 5-155
Cyl 7-160

OUCH!!!!.THAT HURTS....even though the gauge might be off it showa a difference of psi that is hard to ignore, try thr 2 cylinders as they are again, on the test then squirt a few squitrs of oil down the spark plug hole, then read back the before and after readings, I think you will be suprised what it shows you ,if the walls of the cylinder and piston were scavaging the correctly, let us know....I bet it raises the numbers......
Sorry, meant to post this here:
Well, your average cylinder compression pressure is 160.8 when you leave out cylinders 2 and 4. That is not great, but not to bad either, and with the exception of #5, are all pretty even. 2 and 4 on the other hand have 13% less pressure than the average of the remaining cylinders, so yeah, there's definitely something going on with those two. Before you tear into the engine, run a leak down test on 2 and 4. If you hear air escaping the TB, it's an intake valve (my story). If you hear it leaking from the tailpipe, then exhaust valve, and if you hear it leaking from the dipstick tube/crankcase, the the rings. If it leaks out of #2 or #4 plug hole, the it's a blown head gasket.
I honestly think with your mileage and compression pressures shown, you are a good candidate for a complete overhaul. Sucks, I know, but you can't argue with the numbers.

Ya, definetly do a leak down test before you go any further. You need to figure out where your losing compression before you tear into it.
You might be able to rule out the rings by doing what I have seen called a wet compression test. Put a small amount of oil down the spark plug hole for those cylinders, and repeat the compression test. If the result improves, then the initial low compression number is likely from your rings. If the numbers stay about the same, then it is possibly leaking elsewhere.

where can you go to get a compression test, im just curious to know mine with 127xxx , and i use synthtic and engine restore , restore is awesome i reccomened it evrey oil change

Any shop should be able to do one...or you can buy the tester to do it yourself...

Come down to Indiana, and i will do it for $15.
I ran that stuff from when i bought the truck(115,000), till about 145,000, when I switched to Royal Purple. Thought it was not needed as much with running that awesome oil.
