Looks really good man! Any more pics of it? This truck is stock except for the tire's and leveling kit you just installed right?
I need to get a leveling kit for mine. I was going to go with the 2in leveling kit. Looks like a 1.5 is all that is needed?? Or would a 2inch work just fine with my stock 2wd setup and monroe Gas magnum shocks i have now?
Oh yea, how long did it take you to do both sides?
correct...everything else is stock. 1.5" is the biggest you can get without replacing stock frontend parts. the upper control arm will bottom out to easily with anymore than 1.5". i dont really understand how a 1.5" spacer gave me almost 4" of lift...but it did.
took about 3 hours to do the passenger side because i was learning...lol. only took about an hour to do the drivers side.

holy crap that thing was doing a nose dive before the install.
nice job/write up, it looks much better now.
oh, and this line was pretty nice:
DUDE...they made me soooo angry! he origianlly looked at my truck and said that he could do it and would charge 100 bucks to do both sides. i bought the kit...took off from work early...and he then said that he couldnt do it. said he had to have some special tool that only an alignment shop would have and that it was too dangerous otherwise. he said that if i did it at home that i would get hurt or die. dont get me wrong...that spring is CRAZY DANGEROUS when its compressed...but you just have to be careful. heck...loaded guns are dangerous too but i dont walk around with the trigger half pulled.
