Default Cranks and Cranks no Start

I got a 98 dodge ram.. Nothing but problems.

I have remote start. Most of the time it wont start the first time with remote start. Then the second time it tries it will start.

I drove my truck last night ran just fine. Went out tonight to move it in the driveway. It just cranks. I can smell fuel. Doesnt try to start at all just crank. I can hear the fuel pump also.

Any ideas?
I am going to look at it tomorrow, but I was wonderin if anyone had any spots to look.

Champion plugs? Probably gas fouled now, and will not clean themselves.

So i was reading about crank sensor. I went picked one up. Pushed the truck in garage. Looked everywhere to find where it is located couldnt find it. Went inside looked on the internet. Said if the rpms move while cranking, then it isnt the crank sensor. Went out there tried, sure enough the rpms moved. I just kept cranking away and finally it started. Now it starts every time..

ANY IDEA?

So with the cranking problem.. I turn key over so in cranks about 3 times then turn off, then turn back on and it starts right up.

Well lately the engine has been running really rough after i start it and take off.. Seems like it isnt getting enough gas. But once the engine is warmed up it seems to run fine.

Any ideas?
Also, after it is warmed up it will start perfect everytime.

Try running some gas dryer/injector cleaner thru it.

What kinda shape is your cap/rotor/wires in?

Get rid of the platinum plugs, these engines don't really like 'em. Go with the autolite 3923's.

If it were carbed... I would suggest looking at the choke.... but, as you don't have one of those , may wanna see if you can plug a scanner into it, and see what temp the PCM thinks the engine is at cold start.
