Default ABS not working?

Hello!

My parking brake light and ABS light is on so i went out testing if the ABS worked and it didnīt, the front brakes locked and i was sliding on the dirt.
Iīve checked the brakefluid and it was good.

What could be the problem?

RAM 1500 5.2L 4x4

Thanks

The ABS sucks on these trucks. However, your problem with the lites is most likely the sensor on top of the rear end.

One more thing, you probably only have rear wheel ABS anyway.

Hehe okay, it doesnīt matter but when the abs and parking light is on, my car wont go thru the Swedish car inspection we have every year...

Ok.. Iīve read something like that too, abs only on the rear wheels so hopefully itīs correct othervise iīve got some big problems :P

Will try to find a new sensor as soon as posible..

Thanks

Just about any parts store will have it. But I would get one from the dealer. A pin hole in the brake line above the gas tank can also cause the same issue. Get a flashlight and look up there best you can.

That is a good indication the sensor is bad.

I would replace both sensors and check the wiring for damage.
