Yes. Disconnect negative battery cable while you swap them out.

Ok thanks.. Will try to change the rear one first.

BTW, I had a blue/green plastic wheel with "splines" on it on the tailshaft (?). Looked like this [////]. The speed sensor gear is rolling on that wheel.
Can it be placed in the wrong direction?

Hope you understand me :-)
Thanks

I'm pretty sure it will only go one way.

I made a wheel in paper now, it shouldnīt matter beacuse the splines will go from the same corner and up, for example left to right regardless of which direction you put the wheel on.

Maybe i can turn the wheel on the sensor by hand and see if the speedo will move?

Just do the rear sensor first and go from there.

Yes, thanks

My last question, IF it would be the "front sensor" (t-case) shouldnīt it shift quiet weird then? Now it shifts like before and O/D is working too?

Speed signal is from the sensor in the t-case. At least, I think it is...... If your speedo doesn't work..... that's where I would start looking. The sensor is indexed according to tooth count on the gear in the sensor, if you don't index it correctly, it won't mesh with the gear on the output shaft, hence, no signal.

How do i index it correctly? It can only be placed in one position? There are two "claws" that fits in two holes in the sensor. Should I loosen the bolt and then twist the shaft until it snaps in the right position?
